Once upon a time, Christina went to Westwood High School. And yes, she did graduate. Here's the proof.

What would high school be like without that one impossible class you always bitch about? I barely made it alive in AP Chem. (l to r: Sharon S, Sandy M, Serena J, Christina K)

High school tennis made my high school life complete. (l to r, t to b: Amy F, Marielle, JoJo C, Sandy M, Christina K, Shelly S)

Most of my high school life, I felt unsure of myself as a student. Not in academical terms, but with the school itself. I never felt comfortable with my graduating class. I didn't understand their class pride. They were all tight like brothers and sisters. It's not that I didn't like them, I just didn't fit in.
I am not one to sit and sulk about my high school career. Don't take me wrong, I had a great time with my friends.
Much thanks to Sandy and Josh (and the lunch time krew!)- I never felt left out or out of place. They were my family and I didn't need anyone else. After graduation, I realized what I was losing and of course, I was almost brought to tears during the ceremony. But it was difficult to imagine myself without them, especially my girl Sandy, since she was sitting behind me during the ceremony, cracking jokes with me.
With Josh, skiing (smiing) was fun. Who knew we were at the same level? We conquered the black diamonds together. What an adventure!
Who else would go to the beach on a rainy day?- We did (along with Marc and Garrett). And it was still so much fun. Josh taught me how to body surf and Sandy taught me how to tan beautifully (she hates beach water).
Most importantly, they taught me how to love and understand. All throughout our weird and twisted senior year (and believe me- it was), we were always there for each other. Whether it was on the phone or at Seville diner, all three would help each other in time of turmoil.
I love them so much (and they love me too) and to this day, we still keep in contact.
(By the way, Fig Newtons are delicacies, not delicatessens.)
